The Cnoc Hotel
The Cnoc Hotel, Struy, By Beauly, Inverness-shire, IV4 7JU
The Cnoc Hotel was converted in 1970 from four estate cottages, one of which used to be the Factor's Office of the Erchless Estate, ancestral seat of the Clan Chisholm.
Joanne has owned the Cnoc Hotel since 2001 during which time a considerable amount of refurbishment has taken place whilst keeping the character and charm of this small Country House Hotel.
You are assured of a warm welcome at this idyllic, relaxing and comfortable hotel, which nestles within the countryside of Strathglass, at the foot of Glen Strathfarrar, close to Glen Affric and only 20 miles from the City of Inverness, capital of the Scottish Highlands.
Try our excellent meals at the award winning Struy Restaurant, the highest standards of cuisine using freshly prepared local produce. Or try the local beers offered in the Chisholm Bar, fully licensed from 12 noon every day. Bar meals and snacks are served in the bar area from noon daily.
The Cnoc Hotel has seven bedrooms, all with: central heating, en-suite bath or shower, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, radio alarm, and an internal telephone system. Our family rooms consist of a double and two singles and the tariff for families is based on children under 12 sharing with parents. Cots and extra beds can be provided.
The Cnoc Hotel is a perfect retreat for fishers, as it is situated close to the rivers Beauly, Glass & Farrar which can be fished for trout and salmon. It is also well situated for walkers of all types, birdwatchers (osprey, golden eagle and red kite can all be seen locally), golfers and cyclists.
We are confident that we can offer you a first class, relaxing break in comfortable accommodation set in some of the Scottish Highland's most beautiful countryside.
